I'm using dvdlabpro1.6. i have an avi with spanish and english audio, I ve converted it to mpeg with winavi. When I import it into dvdlab, it transcodes, then shows the audio as only having 3mins. I have k-lite codec pack, and have used g spot, which shows 2 streams in the original avi and 1 in the converted. I ve tried "tweaking" th codecs (fixing broken files) and tried ticking more boxes in ffdshow, which changed langauges in gspot. I tried converting the avi again but got the same results! Im new at this and dont really have a clue, hope your not as confused as me, any help greatly appreciated!

EDIT: I ddint see that you said it has 2 streams
the easiest way i can think of is a program called virtualdubMod:
http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=VirtualdubMOD

open the avi with it and under the 'streams' menu choose 'stream list', in on that screen choose the audio streams and click 'demux'.
oh and if you have a bunch or just a batch fiend like me check the batch option on the screen where you choose the name to save the audio stream and go through all you avis and add to the batch, then under 'file' menu choose 'job control' and let it get em all for you.

i dunno if this works for two streams: but if you try it plz lemme know
personally i use a tool called besweet to get the audio from avi files ...its a command line program so if you dont like those belight is a great front end for it ...both can be found here:
http://www.videohelp.com/tools?toolsearch=besweet&Submit=Search&s...

oh i forgot you need vobinput.dll to grab the stream directly from the avi:
http://besweet.notrace.dk/plug-ins.htm

just put that in the folder you unzipped besweet to and if you choose to use belight copy everything in the besweet folder to the belight folder
