I recently bought the Toshiba DR4 dvd recorder and I can record movies and programs from my cable dvr box no problem but can only playback the discs on the dvd recorder, cannot playback on any of my dvd players or my dual layer dvd burner on my pc....any suggestions or does this recorder just not let you playback any of the discs on anything else??!!
