Ok here is what happened.I had a DVD that I needed to backup so I placed it in my dvd-rom to read the disc first (have 2 drives) and opened it up using dvd shrink.The dvd was brand new with no scratches and it doesn't have copyprotection when ran in the shrink program.The problem was that when I put the disc in the drive it started to read at such a high read rate that the disc was spinning out of control and I thought it was going to shatter inside my drive.This is the first time I have seen no copyprotection on a original dvd.So to get around the problem I had to read the disc in the dvd burner using dvd decrypter and it worked fine.Has anyone else ever had this situation?

i have had this before and i just left it and it still did what it was supposed to so don't worry about it. :)
