I'll post a SecuROM profile, but you need to patch the IMG file with Twinpeaks (using a BWA file created by BlindWrite or gotten from the Net) to make a working copy.

Copy this stuff and save it on a .CCP file you have to put in [profiles] folder:

[CloneCD ReadPrefs]
ReadSubData=1
RegenerateData=0
ReadSubAudio=1
AbortOnReadError=0
FastErrorSkip=0
ReadSpeedData=0
ReadSpeedAudio=0
IntelligentBadSectorScan=0
SectorSkip=100
NoErrorReport=0
FirstSessionOnly=0
AudioQuality=0
[CloneCD WritePrefs]
DontRepairSubchannelData=0
AlwaysCloseLastSession=1
AmplifyWeak=0
WriteSpeed=0

With my comprehensive testing, I found BlindWrite 4.25 the easier route to go when backing up SecuROM 4.8.x. CloneCD/TwinPeak Tool gets the job done, but a little more tricky for a nOOb. Refer to this guide m8.

What game are you backing up?

I am backing up warcraft 3. The version i dont know. On the cd it sais 1.0 but on the comp it is 1.05 since i updated for battle net. i tryied to burn through CLONECD and TWIN PEAK. but the bwa that i get has no spikes and it sais that i dont need a bwa. i still made the bwa and tryed burining it through clonecd and twinpeak but no luck. I tryed alchol 120% the securom new and regular securom, i didn't try securom new 4.x because it requires rmps. which i dont want. I thought maybe a clonce cd profile of 4.8x would solve it but i dont now if that possible with clonecd. I got blind write but i dont know how to go about burning it therough there because a little blindwirte popup come up and sais that the protection of the warcragft 3 cd is 4.6x but i need a 4.8x.
So basicly i want to make a copy of my warcraft 3 cd, which has labeled on it "Verison: 1.0", so that it would copy the Securom 4.8x, which version 1.05 had and is what my version of warcraft 3 is now.

Please help

I love food but i am only 78 puonds.

bhbmaster,
1.05 update patch does not effect the backup. I've already tried and tested m8.

You backup the "original" SecuROM 4.8.x protected cd using BlindWrite 4.25 and the bwa file you downloaded or created.

bhbmaster, I knew it. For this reason I told you that the CCD image must be patched with Twinpeaks. There will be NO SecuROM 4.8x profile for CloneCD, untill Elby produces a more advanced version of CloneCD.

As I previously posted, use BlindWrite 4.25 and use the guide provided to make a successful backup od Warcraft III m8. Here is a link to download a Warcradt III bwa file.

Ok, I just followed your instructions but when i start warcraft 3 it askes for the cd. This is messed. I just wasted like 4 blankcs on this. I downloaded the bwa from Cobybase. And i followed the instructions very carefully when writing the image and when burning the image. The only thing that i think it might is that cobybase warcraft 3 bwa file is 1.04x and not 1.05. So can u please find me a link to find a warcraft 1.05 bwa file.

I cant make my own bwa. i know how to and i tryed but when i burned it still said to insert a cd. and plus my bwas do have perfect curves, i tryed on both my cdrw and my cd rom.

I love food but i am only 78 puonds.
