i purchased the wrong chip for my ps2 (mp-388) wich only works on v7 and v8 (SCPH-5000X / SCPH-5500X (GH-023/GH-026) / SCPH-3900X)
i dont know wat 2 do should i just try install it anyway?

anybody want me to send u the chip through the post just ask!

why not send it back where you got it for a refund?
Then get the right chip. Either that or go buy a used PS2 from
ebay or a pawn shop and mod it instead
