well....... yes........ I have many programs to back up a DVD....... I have favorites...... if one doens't produce the quality that I want then I use another program.... and so forth!

I start with DVDFab Platinum..... if the quality isn't 100% then I step down to DVDFab Express and see what % of quality the movie needs to be compressed to a DVD-5! If it's below 80% quality then I use DVDDecrypter to rip to the hard drive (DVDFab Decrypter if it's a newer movie!) then I use DVDRebuilder Pro with CCE for the best quality you can get when encoding to a DVD-5! Burn with CopyToDVD! Those are my favorites. I have other programs which are:

Nero
AnyDVD
DVD43
CloneDVD
1clickDVD
DVDXCopy
ConvertXtoDVD (formaly called DivXtoDVD)
Intervideo CopyDVD
DVD2One
DVDRemaker Pro

but my favorites are the ones I try first as stated above!

I've always remained loyal to the two that got me started: Shrink and Decryptor. AnyDVD is a must but to rip and burn Shrink and Decryptor is always first for me.

If Shrink can't get the job done, since it's no longer updated, I'll use DVDFab (express or platinum), minus AnyDVD. Then I'll still compress it with Shrink.

I almost always burn the ISO with Decryptor.

As other backups, I also use VOBblanker, CloneDVD, Nero, DVD Rebuilder, Remaker, and a couple of others that I don't remember (since I'm on my laptop and not the desktop).

Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie
