I downloaded it and installed it last night with no problems.

I know the folks at slysoft state that you can install new versions over the previous ones, but I never do it this way with any program. Uninstall AnyDVD as well as the registration info, reboot, reinstall the new version, reboot, right click on the fox in the taskbar and choose exit, apply the registration key and restart AnyDVD.

You might want to redownload the new version just in case the one you have may be corrupt.

This was the first time i downloaded AnyDVD, and its the new version. I also have DVD43, and DVD region killer, it asks me to uninstall region killer, but when i reboot, windows no longer starts.

You should also delete DVD43, AnyDVD should have asked you to delete it when you installed it.

I don't think anyone here uses easy DVD Shrink, just the free version original version.

@JesusC
If your pc refuses to boot correctly, boot up in safe mode and uninstall ALL the drivers/software used for copy protection removal. Reboot after uninstalling and reinstall the current version of AnyDVD only.

Would that include DVD Decrypter? Also the program would remove protection in real time right? So i wouldnt have to use a program like DVD Decrypter to get it on the hard drive first, and than shrink?

No, leave DVDdecrypter and DVDshrink alone, you'll still need them to rip the files to your hard drive with, just uninstall DVD43, DVD region killer, and to be safe anydvd as well. Reboot and reinstall anydvd only.

Note: To use DVDDecrypter with AnyDVD set I/O Mode to SPTI or ElbyCDIO. Set CSS Cracking method to none. Disable checking for structure protection.
