1)I riped a DVD with DVDFab decrypter and then processed the output files with vobBlanker.Then I tried to shrink the resulting files with dvdshrink and at the analysis stage it returned the following error: "programming error - exception occured". In all the refrences I could find to this problem on the Internet,it reffered to this error during the backup stage,but not during analysis.
2)I have gotten through the same stages(Fab,VobBlanker) with a different DVD,and at the end of the analysis stage in dvdshrink (at open files mode),dvdshrink just disappear.
Any suggestions how can I fix these two problems?

Instead of using vobblanker, use FitVTS in it's place.

Have a look at the home page to see what it does.

But in a nutshell, it fixes the bad things that the ARccOS folks put on a DVD, such as mucking around with certain tables in the IFOs and the NavPacks of the VOBs.

This is essential to ensure the DVD is returned to a pre-ARccOS state so progs such as DVD Shrink can load them properly.

The movie with the first problem is "charlie and the chocolate factory".
The movie with the second problem is "kingdom heaven".
they are both /region Code 2.

Make sure you are using the latest version of DVDFab Decrypter...to do this you must uninstall any existing instances of the program from your puter completely, then redownload and reinstall. Run the folder created with DVDFab through VobBlanker and then DVD Shrink for editing...I've done both of those movies with no problems.
