noob question, about Cygwin and Toolchain

Ok I need Toolchain to be put into my Cygwin, should be a simple case of unzip the .tar and use the toolchain.sh file. Problem is the file inside the.tar seems to have no extention. This is wrong and I cant work out why its doing this. Im using Winrar, any suggestions?

you could always give it the exstention manually.
that might work

im assuming if you can use cygwin you know how to give a file an extention

Firstly cheers PieceFull but thats actually the tutorial i was reading :p lol

and Ravenlife i did this already lol, it still said "cannot execute binary file".

Personally I think this binary file might be a folder but WinRAR just isnt reading it properly, ill try a few other compression programs see if that helps.

I feel like a noob, I tried on my work pc, and WinZIP 10 did the trick, it had a message that the file contained another .tar and would I like to decompress it to temp folder, so maybe I should have renamed the file to .tar so basically unzipping twice? strange indeed. cheers for your help tho.
