Reasonably priced CD Printer??

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced CD printer? I'm interested in thermal printers. Does the lightscribe burner a cd printer? How does it compare with the primera z1?

A lightscribe burner will only print lightscribe discs (CD or DVD) which aren't multicolored. They're more like shades of gold. They are going to come out with different colors eventually, but they still will only be shades of that color. Also, as of now a lightscribe disc takes around 20-30 minutes to burn the image onto it. Sometimes it takes two passes.

Sorry, I don't know much about thermal printer. I only have a lightscribe burner and a Epson R300M CD/DVD printer.

Isn't thermal printing very expensive?
An Epson "R" series printer (R200, R220, R300, R320, etc.) will print directly on cds and dvds. They do an awesome job. Can get the ink very cheap too. Hard to tell the printed ones from the originals.

JVC is right.

I got my refurbished Epson R300 printer for about $50.00.

Great results on dvd & outside covers.

Prints faster than my HP 7750 Photo Printer.

Ink is also much,much cheaper than my HP.

You can the whole set of ink cartidges @ abacusink, for about $20.00.

One of the best investments, I've ever made since backing up DVD's.
