Can anyone let me know if accu dvd-r's with purple dye are any good? Or would i be better off going with ritek?

I have bought both from Meritline and both are OK, although it seems that Accu is more compatible with a wider range of set-top players. I've used both succesfully in the following set top players: Pioneer DVL-90, DVL-700, Pioneer DVR-7000, Apex 1500, Apex 500W, PS2, XBox, and various Mac, PC and notebooks. The Ritek does not play in a GoVideo VCR/DVD combo. Also, Riteks are fine when burned at 1x, but while they burn successfully at 2x, those discs don't play in anything at all, not even the recorder that made them.
