I get an error 13 everytime I boot up my xbox. The boot disks won't work on my xbox so I'm going to resort to rebuilding my HDD. I got Xboxhdm 1.9 and configmagic but I don't know how to use configmagic. Do I just hook up my xbox to my computer and then it will tell me my HDD key or what? Can I just use that or do I need my eeprom

yeah u need ur eeprom and u dont need configmagic here's a link to a tutorial...

u extract from ur xbox using FlashFXP, but i dont know if it will work because when i had that problem FlashFXP couldn't connect,otherwise u can buy an eeprom online (make sure its unbanned if u have live) otherwise just buy a new xbox and this time make a backup of ur eeprom on ur computer

well when i click on xboxhdm and then put the c from slayers2.6 in the c of xboxhdm i am supposed to click on the make-iso-win.bat right? but when i do that the black box flashes on screen really fast and then doesnt' do anyting. what do i do?

Don't use Config-Magic to get your EEPROM it gets the wrong key or something .. Just FTP to the E: (UDATA) folder and search for a folder called eeprom , open it and FTP the eeprom.bin to your desk top . then put that eeprom in the xhdm epprom folder , make ISO and burn .
