Hey, i just bought a DS (since it was fairly cheap) and absolutly hated it!!!!! so i took it back and now im going to wait til next pay-day and get a psp.... maby
i have been studying up and i'm interested in one, but if i go to wal-mart and buy one, what firmware version am i going to end up getting?

If you go to Walmart most probably you will get a version 2.01+ which you can run homebrew on, but you cant downgrade back to 1.5 which you can run alot more homebrew on and load isos. Youd be better off going to ebay and looking for either a 1.5 or 2.0.
or you could go to a gameshop that isn't all that popular. go there and ask for the oldest psp that they have. you then might have a chance that it would be a 2.0 or lower. don't get a white psp, they are pretty much all 2.0+.
