Hello I have a Lite-On dvd burner 16x dual layer from wal mart. It is about 3 weeks old but all of a sudden it is reading slower then it was and when I burn any thing the device buffer and computer buffer jump around from 0% to about 70% and it says burn completed but when I try to open the disc it reads as a blank disc. Please Help Me.

1. make sure your firmware is up to date on your drive

2.your drive may have gotten in PIO mode where as it needs to be in DMA mode you can check in your device manager ,or use this guide to walk you though it.

3. you drive maybe no good RMA it back to Lite-On
