I have a modded xbox and i play on xboxlive constantly with my mods off of course and the chip off. But i have heard that if you upgrade your Harddrive then you will get banned from xboxlive and lets say that isnt the case would xboxlive be able to detect games or other files on the harddrive and ban you?

I have the regular HDD that came with the xbox and an Xecuter 2.6 with the switch in the box

nah , you can upgrade your hard drive and still play on Xbox live

you can only put random hard drives if you have a chipped box to do it with out i chip i dont know how i think you have to back it all up and you have to have atleast a sofmod, one thing you can do is find one on ebay that is working and unlocked but it in your box and lock it

I have a new 10gb hd it has original xbox dashboard and is unlocked so now what do i do? pu tit in and then lock it.thanks for the site mish.

how do you lock it?there is nothing done to my xbox not even soft mod which I would do .I don't want anything special from it just maybe a could put some of my games on hd so i can have system link in house without buying doubles.will a moded xbox play 360 games?

You need your eeprom to lock it , Means you need a softmod to get the Stock HD's key
