Most likely a very simple question, but I'm looking to find a guide to help me upgrade firmware from 1.52 - 2.0 so I can downgrade back to 1.5. Is there one out there? I have found one for the 1.5 downgrade but not one to go up.
Also, can you point me to a guide that helps me play dl'd psp games? (not nes, snes ect.)
Cheers

I did dl 2.0 and put it into game on the stick, but i don't know where to click update? On the psp home, under game, it says no data, and no games under saved data utility and memory stick respectively. Also under Game, I only have Game Sharing, Save Data Utility, and Memory Stick.

When i put the game in, it has the updater, but it's only for 1.52 that's on the game disk, not for 2.0 that i put on the card. When i click the updater, it says, the same version of the system software is already installed. there is no need to update.
And when i click on memory stick, it says there are no games. Should i be putting the EBOOT.PBP file into a different folder or something?

Create a folder in X:\PSP\GAME called UPDATE, put your 2.0 eboot in there.
youd end up with
X:\PSP\GAME\UPDATE\eboot.*
Now go to your games on memory stick and you should see the update.

are you telling him to take out the power supply?
I think what ya meant to say was Do not take your battery out, or take out the power supply when upgrading/downgrading right?

Well I got the update done to 2.0. I created the UPDATE folder in the Game folder, and put the .pbp file in there. Found it on the memory stick in the system, but had to have the ac plugged in or it wouldn't update.
Thanks all
