HI i'm sure this question has been asked before but if some one could help me unlock my Sony DVP - NS50P Dvd player and turn it into a multi region player i would really appreciate it.

Buy the Philips DVP642. It allows users to change its region settings!

nope therez no hacks for your drive
You can buy some gay remote that *may* make it multi-region or you can get it chipped but it would be cheaper to just buy another dvd player.

You could just back up whatever you wanted to watch and change the region or make it region free. If its that important to you

Yes there is a DVD Player that is region free right out of the box. It also plays Pal/NTSC, XviD, mpg, AVI and almost anything you wish to throw at it.
