The pieces look pretty basic, I swear somewhere I saw a "how to make your own" on it, anyone have any input? Can you make your own rip off of the 3 pieces and just order the swap magic discs. That's all. Thanks for the answers or insults to be provided xD

hmmmmm insults - where shall i start lol just kidding
there is a guide on here that shows you how to use tissue paper & tape (but to do that you need to open your ps2 voiding the warranty)
you could make your own i guess but would probably be hassle, you can get metal ones on ebay for about $3 so might be worth buying them (the ones that come with swap magic are usually plastic)

I used strong card to make those pieces for my slimline, but it depends, what version have you got, some new slimlines have the hinge place blocked with a piece of metal.
