Could someone please help me. I just installed a modbo v2.1 modchip in my v7 PS2. now when I turn on my console, it wont read any discs at all, I checked all the wires and cables and everything is hooked up. I took the cover off the cd/dvd drive, and I noticed it spins the disc about 1/8 of a turn, and the laser comes on when it does that, but thats it. I also noticed that when the cover is off the cd/dvd drive it tries to spin on and off and then comes up with a disc reading error and when the cover is on it only spins 1/8th of a turn. I know the laser isn't burned out, and all cables are tightly plugged in. any help would be greatly appreciated.

take out the chip and see if you can get it working normal again and then reinstall the chip, but clones are not stable so the chip might be the problem

does anyone know how to troubleshoot the wiring on a mod chip, and what wire connection does excactly what? I tried booting my PS2 and followed the instructions to disable the mod chip, and I got a Modbo v2.1 disabled screen, I also tried to unhook the controller and booted it, and it took the 10-15 seconds to boot while looking for the game controller, so I know those parts of the installation where correct, I just don't know which ones are for reading the disc.
