im trying to get my internet runing on my psp, i followed an earlier thread on this board (the one with all the steps on) i enter a new connection name and then when i get to the WLAN settings and scan it says "No access points were detected, Do you want to try again?" any ideas on how to detect the access points please ?
i've also read previous threads about this and i cant make any thing of them

1. Do you have a Wireless router or Wifi max?
2. Get as close as possible to the router no access points means the signal is too far.

i have a router but it has wires lol so im guessing it aint wireless and im very close to it when i try to connect

Does your router have an antenna?
If it doesnt then its not wireless, also you can check by going into your router.
You usually do this thru inernet exp. and typing http://(routers IP)
Check out the WIfi max you can run it thru your computer saving you getting another router, or else get a wireless router.

Wifi max is a little device it sends out wireless signal just like router but it uses ur Pc's USB port
