menu reauthoring problem with shrink!!

i have the martin custom made tv series that i orderd. it's 3 disk a season. I can compress it to be two dvds but it wont have the menu scene selection. I want to know how can i keep the menu's. i was reading about some tutorial that you could do with shrink but it looked WAY TOO difficult. I want to know are there any programs(or free program) that i can download in order to keep the menu scene selection. and if anybody could provide me witha lil summary on how to do it i would appreciate it.
