I have a motorola v220.. Motorola mobile phonetools always worked, till yesterday. it says: Mobile not connected but i'm sure my mobile is connected and when I put the cable in the phone I hear a sound, so it IS connected. But why does it say it isn't?
When it redetects it says: not accessible or in use by another application..

Can someone help me?

If it is in use by another application you can stop that application with task manager. Most likely, however, the (rather crappy) connection motorola created with the cord is shaky, wiggle it a little bit, set it down carefully when you hear the 'okay' from the computer. Also, I'm not sure about other people, but I have to reinstall the 'phone software'(not MPT) and the driver most of the time when I connect my phone.hopeihelped
