I have alot of VERY large iso files and I need to make them really small so I can use them on my memory stick. I have used a shinker, but it only made the file 20mb smaller. I've heard of people who have really small (under 200mb iso's) and I was wondering if anyone here knew a sure way of doing this.
Try rebuilding the ISO
1. Extract ISO with WinRAR to find PSP_GAME & UMD_data.bin
2. Download UMD ripper from here
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/180 and install
3. Use UMDRipper to rip out the unneccessary files that show up, dont rip the music and videos yet unless ripping the opthers didnt work.
4 Get UMDgen http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/194 here
Now drag and drop the new PSP_Game and UMD-data.bin to the right side of UMDgen Go to File - EXPORT ISO
5.Try your newly built ISO,
Piece
Okay this is becoming frustrating. Is there an english version of umdripper so that I can try and figure out how this program works? Or perhaps a site which explains how to get this program to work correctly for me?
