I have never seen this before and cannot figure out how to fix it.

I created an iso with DVD Shrink and it plays in French, so I re-authored and took out the french audio selections and now all you can here is the directors comments.
I have used dvd decryptor to try and fix this but it doesn't work. I also have CloneDVD and it comes out the same.

I thought this was just one movie - it does the same thing with Guess Who. What am I doing wrong. I have checked all of my settings, I have AnyDvd, please tell me what is causing this.

The only audio I ever leave on a disc is the AC3 5.1, delete the rest along with the subtitles. I also don't keep the menus and special features (this is where the DC are), try the reauthor mode (movie only) and see what you get.

Hi ImageGirl,
Here's a guide on how to reauthor a DVD using shrink:

http://www.jlathamsite.com/dvd/DVDShrink3.htm

When reauthoring and choosing the audio channel, uncheck all selections except the 5.1 AC3 english audio selection.

I did remove all but that, that is why I am perplexed as to what is causing this. Could it be AnyDVD? I see on one of the threads here that it causes issues. I just purchased it and added it to my system.

I'm not aware of such a problem caused by AnyDVD. The conflict occurs when AnyDVD is enabled and are using DVDFab decrypter, DVDdecrypter (but this can be solved by changing some settings) or vobblanker. When using these tools/apps, AnyDVD should be disabled to avoid possible conflicts among the applications. Also AnyDVD and DVD43 should not be installed and running on the same PC.

Can you re-rip the DVD and try choosing just the audio channel specified using DVDshrink and AnyDVD running?

Have you tried to turn off the DC via the menu with the DVD players remote control?

Well I tried the VobBlanker and followed instructions and the movie plays with Directors Comments only. The french is gone until you turn off the directors comments and then its back to French. The region code shows US. This all started when I got AnyDVD and purchased CloneDVD,trial version worked perfect-I buy the reg key and I get french.
