Hey everyone,

I dont know if this is the right forum to be posting in about this so if it not please tell me. Okay now I have been a ps1 addict since it came out but stopped using it around a year and a half ago and never got into ps2 or xbox but still have ps2 and have the gta vice city and gta 3 for it. A couple of weeks ago I went to go play my ps1 and most of my games did not work. I geuss I didn?t take care of them well as they are scratched to death. Anyway I decided to get the epsxe emulator and download the iso?s of the games that were not working for me. That worked.

My question is: i heard that vice city and grand theft auto 3 were compatible with the playstation 1 emulator i have, epsxe. Is this true?

Now I ran into a couple of problems with these two games when downloading the .iso file and running them on my epsxe. Crash bandicoot works fine for me but that is a playstation 1 game. Grand Theft auto vice city and part 3 on the other hand do not load. I go to File-loadiso and then neither of those games load up. It just gives me a black screen. Can anyone tel me if this is a known issue with these games or are these games not compatible with a playstation 1 emulator??

You cant play ps2 games on that ps1 emulator, it doesnt work

nope, ps2 emulators dont really work, there is no emu that works for ps2 games, so there is no way you can play the games via emulator, think you should just get the pc version of gta 3 and vice city, they are very cheap nowadays

Yes, they are just like the PS2 versions, another thing is that you can even mod the pc version, like change certain vehicles to a vehicle you make yourself or download of the net, gta 3 requires, around at least 1ghz cpu i think for it to run properly with at least 32mb graphics memory, as for vice city it requires at least a 1.2ghz cpu, and 32mb graphics too, but it would work better with a 64MB graphics card or higher.
