I am looking for some ideas of good video editing software. The most common format I use is either in .VOB or .mpeg.

So far, I have tried Movie Maker but found it has some limitations, I have also used Cyberlink DVD Power Director, but it too has some limitations. I am more looking for something that will let me edit all the video files (.vob format prefered) and offer an excess of options for titles and transitions and such.

Is there anyone who knows of some popular programs with this in mind??
