***Reminder This is full version no 10 minute limit***
Ok first I used YAUIS to shrink the 1.16gb iso from my UMD to about 836mb. Get it here http://www.pspsaves.info/download.php?view.102
Open the program and just drag the iso into the first screen. Click on the bottom right pad iso, then click shrink and wait. The new iso will be saved to where the original iso was.
Now go download UMDgen here: http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/194 just have it on hand you'll need it later.
Now go here and install this tutorial wicked easy to follow: http://tinyurl.com/rotwg You'll have to go through the rapidshare crap but it's just all clicking. Don't worry it's all there.
Now just follow this and when I put the iso back together I used UMDgen and when both extracted iso files were dragged into UMDgen ready to be rebuilt. All I did was have the PSP_Game folder selected in blue and just hit file save and that rebuilt my iso. This is the first time using that program and thats all I did to rebuild the iso.

That is what I said yesterday that 2.0 iso will run on psp v1.50.

I believe socom doesnt work. Not tested myself, but i heard on a board it doesnt. I will try socom with this exact method, and report back later tonight

Ok Socom gets to the loading screen then seems to do nothing, even though the loading thing is spinning bottom right. I will try it with the PRX files from the beta version as I hear they work

In that case I need some help
I did everything, and when I go to load the game the MPH loading screen comes up, and then the system just shuts off...
Any help would be appritiated

well for anyone following my thousand posts on it freezing at load...
i figured what the hell, ill try downloading a copy for kicks... well, the kick in the ass was that it works now.. go figure
wonder what this means as far as why it didnt work from a direct rip

Ok just transferring Socom to my PSP. I have used the PRX files from metal gear acid as the GTA ones didnt work.
Damn still no luck. This time it just froze and shut off rather than sitting there doing nothing

i read you can only continue a campaigne, not start a new one.. i also read instant action works.

Find yourself a socom savedata, you can only continue a campaign, you cannot start a new campaign!

Cheers Kaos. I tried it with the MGA prx files and it froze on the loading screen. I had a save game file off gamefaqs. Hav you got it to work? just wondering which save game to use

It's from the site above how to get these to work. Would I be doing the same as I did for GTA?

Thanks Sniper78 for the link to the guide but, can you help me out? I did everything that guide told me to do. I set the umdemulator to boot system menu then i select the the gta iso. Then I'll use the mph loader and it ll just hang at the "Loading game..." part in the very beginning. any ideas?

Its the ISO, for some reason some of them dont work. Make sure you decrypted the ISO part properly, if it still doesnt work, try another

Ya it's weird kcc86 u have everything correct it's ur iso. Some people are having problems using the iso they ripped themselves it freezes around 80%. I have no expierience ripping isos so I didnt use my bros gta I just downloaded it and had perfect results.
