Did you copy the image to the disk as data or did you burn a Disc Image?

I downloaded an .iso file of rosetta stone on emule. I notice most software comes in this form now. I then chose burn image and burnt it to a CD-R disc. When i enter the disc I burnt, it does not do anything. It is full of folders filled with .cxt and .swa files. thanks.
