After much deliberation (and a previous break), i've decided my time here on AD is up.
I wish the mods the best of luck in upholding the law here, and i hope things turn out fo the best.
To the rest of you guys, i'll see you on the ad_buddies channel ;)

he's had enough of the idiots. well i'm back from my AD break now, and i'm not gonna see any more respected regulars put off from posting by the prats, i have as little tolerance as the other mods for the minority of pointless flaming idiot moron posters who wind up the regulars, my ban button has been going dusty of late, time for a cleanup methinks.

I think all forums seem to go through there good and bad patches. There has been a hell of a lot of fighting , which will subside and then you will find that most the good people will come back.
No forum or business can grow forever at the same rate. The time to start worrying is when the people leaving out numbers the people joining.
And while i am rattling on i cant remember but did they ever give prizes away or did i imagine it.

i know i haven't been here much lately, but whenever i've dropped in, i've seen nothing but pointless prats winding up the well-respected regulars. for instance the likes of holleyron and luckepene spring to mind, afterdawn deserves to not be brought down by the amoebas out there.

Dan was always very outspoken, that was his way. But his views amplified my thoughts to be honest.
Creaky, you don't have to convince us that you are going to be lethal & ruthless, we already know you guys do a fantastic job :-)
At the end of the say, the mods have always got an uphill job. We have 3 or four active at the moment, versus 80 + forums and tens of thousands of active members.
Keep up the good work mods, the rest of us are right behind you and will help as much as possible with offensive reports etc. We all care about these forums, that is obvious.. so we all need to pitch in around here and help. :-)

this stuff comes in waves, and it seems ot happen every 6 months or so. I think this is one of the worst waves we've had, as far as good members bailing out on us, we usually dont use that many. a long time ago Dela and I used to go on the rampage with the zero tolerance nazi regime type of modding until things got straightened out. I think it's time to go back to that for a bit. We've always had the full support of the admins while doing this "clean up" since they know our patience can be worn thin during these crazy waves of morons that we get bombarded with.
For this type of clean up to truly be effective we really need the full support of all the addicts and senior members as far as warning people that we are on the warpath and wont be tolerating any foolishness. I've seen alot of threads lately saying the mods are just banning for no reason, which most of you know is totally false. So we are going to need the help of everyone to reassure people that we are not just going on a "banning spree", but merely just trying to clean the place up.
So starting from this moment on, until things get better, i am inviting all mods to join me in weeding out the morons and setting an example for newcomers that this site will no longer tolerate idiots in the ranks.

I don't drop in here as much as I used to. I too, see many pointless posts, but it is quite easy to just leave your name, as is, and come back and post when you feel like doing so.
AD is not your job. I don't understand the point of asking to be banned. I may not come back to AD for a day, week, month, or even a year, but I sure won't be asking to be banned. I may post a scathing diatribe (text form) which will get me banned, before that happens. :)

yeah me to i rather skip the drama ,just do what you have to do stay or get out and be done with it. this isnt real life its just an escape from things for a few mintues /hours whatever ,so making it a big deal just isnt for me. the saftly value should be light hearted topics that dont get people upset

Fully understood. This makes me not feel so guilty for reporting what i feel are offensive posts all the time, and telling people to contribute.
