I am a newbee and I have a # scph-50004 with MOD chip. Everything worked fine, until I started playing DVD movies from local rental (bear in mind that in Bosnia most of these are pirated...). Some of the movies could play, and some of them would sttuter. DVD games like GTA, Gods of War etc. played fine... Few days ago friend of mine burned some catoons on DVD's, I tried to play them unsuccesfully to my kids and now none of the DVD games would load. Those on CD's and PSOne are working fine, but id I insert any DVD (movie or game) I don't even get the message Insert DVD ...

Is it possible to destroy/damage laser with pirated DVD discs? Does is just need cleaning? Can someone help me?
