I live in the states but bought a DVD series called Full Circle with Michael Palin from the UK. It is region coded 2 and I figured I would be able to just remove the region code and copy it so that I would be able to watch it in the states. I use ANYDVD and DVD Shrink. I have tried 3 times and have not been able to copy the DVDs. When I use ANYDVD I get this: Anydvd is unable to crack all css keys on dvd. It says it will guess but when i copy it using DVD shrink and play it on my home dvd player...the dvd player says to check my tv settings...so im guessing there is still some kind of pertection on it. Can anyone please help! Thanks in advance!

Try ripping the disc with DVDFab Decrypter. Then process the files you got from DVDFab Decrypter through VobBlanker. Open the files you got from VobBlanker in DVD Shrink and proceed normally. See if that works and get back to us.

ascarlett,
I do not think it is protection stopping you completely as you are in a PAL region and US is a NTSC region. You will need to convert the files to NTSC or get a DVD Player that can play PAL and NTSC movies. You can try the program below:
Edit: Gave ascarlett the wrong program Below is the correct free one to try
