Hello there. I need a program to rip dvd material to my computer in AVI form so that i can later edit the footage and whatever else i need to do with it using pinnacle studio. I dont mind paying for a good piece of software as it will be used a lot, although a free one that will do the job sufficiently would be fine. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Yeah, thanks, I've already bought myself a copy, nudge nudge, wink wink. Thanks people. Although when i try to edit the AVI files in pinnacle they wont add to the timeline to be edited. Very annoying, i dont see why it's happening. Could it be something to do with codecs or if the dvd may have some type of reproduction protect type stuff on it? Cheers.
