Alright so I bought Swap Magic & am attempting to burn my first game. I have DVD+R & DVD-R, so first off, which ones of those should I use? I have a Slim PS2 if that matters. Secondly, what burning software should I use? I think I have Nero5, but someone had told me that that isn't very good and I should download Alchohol 120%. And how would I burn with that software? I know, it's a very stupid question, but more often than not I don't really know what I'm doing with burning software and chose wrong options. And one last thing, when I downloaded the game, it came up with a bunch of .rar archives that all have the same thing in them... or so it looks like. There's also 8 files at the bottom with .r30 - .r37 extensions. Should I just extract the .rar archives into that folder and then burn those files to a disk?

Thanks for any help. It'd really be appreciated. If you need me to elaborate, or want to contact me quicker, you can message me on AIM at VS7. Thanks once again. :)

Oh yeah I forgot to say, the file that's inside the .rar archives is a .iso, if that says something?

Ok so I extracted them all, and burned it onto a DVD-R disc with DVD Decryptor. Still no luck. And I take it nobody wants to help?

i know you're a n00b, but that doesn't mean you can't read. You broke all sorts of rules here.

first, you need to edit your post to take out your email address...also if you have something to add (and you are the only or last post in a thread) then edit to that as well.

and finally, all of your questions have been answered if you searched for them or simply read the above Sticky threads....

Ok, first of all most "back up" games are in a .iso (image) format so the program I wouldsuggest to use would be ImgBurn this is a very good image burner , be sure to burn it in 4x so you are sure it dosent mess up the disc. Second, If you already have a friends game and you want to back it up then I would suggest downloading DVD Decrypter It will back up a game as a .iso (image) files. Those .r## (## = numbers 1-99) Just open the first one with WinRAR and there should be a .iso (image) file in there, move it to your desktop and then if you downloaded ImgBurn , right-click on the .iso (image) file and select "Burn with ImgBurn" , put your DVD disc in there click on 4x burning speed, then burn it.

I pwn myself all the time...damn
