i'm not 100% sure but i think this means that the file you are extracting is larger that 4GB, and your hard drive is formatted with FAT or FAT32. Only Hard Drives that are formatted with NTFS support single files with a size of 4GB and over.

simple way = get an external hard drive
No, heres the simple way... convert your file system and you will not have to buy a external hard disk like jjssj, (usefull investment however) just do this and convert your file system with out loss of data.

Go to the Command Prompt and type this command...

C:\> CONVERT C: /fs:ntfs

Where C: is a name of the drive you want to convert, after machine re-boot conversion process will start and you'll have your FAT32 converted to NTFS without of data loss :D

Just incase back everything up before this, it is unlikely that anything can happen as your using the standard Windows utility that is called CONVERT that deals with this purpose.
