Burn DVD from mpg file in Toast?

Is it possible to do this?

I have a svcd of a movie that I want to convert to DVD
with TMPGEnc and then stuff that DVD file into Toast
to burn.

The problem is when I encode the svcd into DVD with
TMPGEnc it stays as a mpg file and does not create a
DVD image or seperate into the m2v and ac3 audio
and video streams. These 2 formats are what I am
used to giving Toast to burn.

If it is possible what needs to be done to make this
happen? Do I need to create a folder and call it
VIDEO_TS and put the DVD mpg in it and drag and
drop into Toast??

Or is there a way to convert the svcd file into the
seperate m2v and ac3 files to feed to Toast?

Any help is appreciated.
