realplayer plays xvid video back perfectly - my question is this:

1. why is the audio out of sync
2. why wont the divx v2.1 player play these movies? I hear audio but the video is scrambled.

any feedback would be appreciated.

I have no problem playing them with WMP.

(I wouldn't update to WMP 9 though)
