Does anyone know where I can find some good 1-4X DVD+R disks? Also, I am using a Khypermedia 8x DVD+RW burner with DVD Xcopy Gold (Express) to burn dvd's. Is there anyway I can choose what speed to burn at? If so how?

i'm not sure how much you like that prog for backing up your dvds.. but i prefer free software route.. other than AnyDVD.

but to answer the question.. i know supermediastore.com still may have some. you can use 8x discs.. just burn it at 4x.

There is no way to control burn speed using Xcopy. You can try the online dealers as suggested for 4x.

Go with some top notch grade A media such as verbatim or taiyo yuden and they should burn at 8x without any problems if you can't find any 4x media.

The Verbatim digital movie reel disc are 4x. I believe Best Buy might still have them.
