my xbox recently broke, but my hard drive is still functional. how can i get the info off the hard drive? If i put it in another xbox will it work or will i have to redue the bios. please help

You have to unlock your hdd. Keep note of hdd key. Do you have modchip on other xbox? If so, just plus the hdd in. If not, you also need the eeprom of that xbox. Then use xboxhdm to lock the hdd again.

my other xbox is modded. so i can put the other hd in and it will not mess up my current hd settings and bios. thank for your help

Since you have hardmod, you xbox will read any unlock hdd. So run the Configmagic on the xbox. It has options to lock and unlock.

if you have an xecuter 3 it will let you unlock it and relock it
|
