my hardware: hdd>network adaptor>ps2.

my sofeware: HDLoader, Winhiip, DMS HDD formatter

my problem:
I have a PS2>Nework Adaptor>HDD setup that was working fine for a time. then one day, the NetAdpt was removed. when reinstalled, HDLoader could no longer detect the HDD.
I've verified the HDD by throwing it into my PC and checking out the formatting with WinHiip. i tried reformatted the HDD and starting with a fresh HDD, however, i found no success. my last effort included trying a HDD, again formatted with winhiip, still no detection.

my questions:
the HDDs are both plugged into my computer, working fine. the playstation is also playing fine. thus i assume there is a problem with the network adaptor, specifically winth the IDE interface.
has anyone found the same problem, better yet, a solution?

that happened to me with hdloader so i plugged it in properly and it detected it. also check if it has a ps2 master boot record and rebuild the file structure with winhiip.
