My friends modded xbox [softmod] is scratching disks. How can i fix this?

r u sure it is scratching disks? if so...maybe its ur xbox.dont blame it always on ur mod. but maybe it could..open the xbox. and b carefull though.see if anything is out of place that would scratch the disk
