I need to backup Lost. The problem is that there is four episodes on the DVD and i would like them seperate not continuous.

Is there ripping software that can do this please.

Thanks much.

Yes you can do it and it's easy. Rip the whole four episode disc to your HD. Then use Vobblanker (free) to open the full DVD you just ripped and blank out the 3rd and 4th episode and output a new video_ts folder. Then open the complete four episode DVD you ripped in step one, and this time blank out the 1st and 2nd episodes. Output another video_ts folder.
Then you use Menuedit or PGCEdit (free) to open each of the two new folders and edit the menus to remove the buttons for the episodes you blanked out. Eg. remove the selection buttons for episodes 3 and 4 on the first disc, and on the second the selection buttons for 1 and 2.
You now have two different video_ts folders that can be burned to disc creating two discs with 2 episodes each, while keeping the menus and without loss of quality.
