when using dvd shrink and it has to perform deep analysis, what is better to select with it....maximum smoothness, maximum sharpness, smooth or sharp?

4 lots of compression, max smoothness, if the compression is under, let's say,10%, leave it in sharp.

Nero Recode2 or Shrink using deep analysis and AEC/ fabdecrypter or anydvd running in the background/ IMGBurn to burn/main movie only mode= perfect.

For most DVD's if doing movie only default of Sharp is fine, you really do not need it until below 80%.

90-99.9% - Max Sharp
80-90% - Default Sharp
65-80% - Smooth
<65% - Max Smooth

Just remember this will take more time and CPU power, and if you have a slower computer it will take substantial time.
