VHS to DVD problem

Question, I'm trying to copy my VHS tapes to DVD with Cyberhome dvr 1600. my first attemt was successful. If I create just 1 chapter it seems to work fine, but when I try to make multiple chapters on won't burn. My process is: Burn video to dvd on a DVD-RW. Then, using Shrink 3.2 I copy to a DVD-R. (a friend of mine told me he was going through too many DVD-R's burning directly) Now if I try to create multiple chapters on the DVD-RW then try to burn it to a DVD-R with Shrink it gives me some "Invalid Structure Error"

Is there any way around this????

Do you get the error when trying to use shrink to copy to DVD-R? Running the files through FixVts might solve the problem. It's a nice free tool, you could give it a try...

I avoided all this by buying the LG-LRY517 model dvd recorder/vcr. One button dubbing and it creates 5 or 10 minute intervals for your chapters(your choice).Works great even with old analog vhs camcorder tapes(vhs-c)when using the adapter.What a headache solver this hardware is!!!
