Can anyone help ???.

I am ripping a Movie About 4gig in size and copying from Hdisk to DVD-R using DVDDecryter. When i play the movie back on my PC everthing is OK, when i try it on My Multi Region machine it will not play, if however i burnthe movie in EXACTLY THE SAME WAY except to a DVD-RW it will play in the Multi Region DVD Player. I am using Verbatim DVD-R and TDK DVD-RW. Also i have tried Burning them Faster and Slower but nothing seems to work. Other movies Rip and Burn fine.

could be a media issue combined with the film?

some films play up on copy and some just fly

could be one bad disc? i see you have a diferent dvdr type to the dvdrw disc?

but i hope this helps keep thread alive (bump)

That was what i thought it was, because i had bought some of those cheap DATAWRITE DVD-R's which had got that fault on, however from memory the DATAWRITE also reacted in the same way as these VERBATIM. Just as an example i ripped a 'Trilogy' of movies now 2 out of the 3 rippedf and burnt fine the other one just would not do the business. I have got so many DVD-R's for coasters i am getting a Drinking Problem.

lol i know what you mean on coasters i just made 10 CDR coasters trying to DVDRIP to cdr not made one ps2 game disc as yet from dvd to cdr, tryed rip packs mega loads of tools but just cant seem to get to grips with it, oh well perhaps i should just go dvd to dvdr and look at it as a learning curve?

Also i have jioned more FORUMS in the last 3 days then ever before in 5 years on the net!

that seems more geared for ripping than here, and also there just starting threads on DVD9 games like the films now! thats going to be nasty ah!

time to do a little blue peter with sticky tape and glue and make a XMAS tree for december from COASTERS !!!

Try ripping with

SMARTRIPPER

If your disc is smaller than 4.36Gb then just select ALL under FILE mode .

Then just burn w/ Nero.
