Do what I did. When I baught dvd x copy, I first flushed my computer then installed MS Home, then ghost. Then installed dvd x copy Platinum 4.0.3.8 Installed a second HD then copied the main HD overt to the second one(using Ghost ). I can disconnect the second HD. Now at anytime I can flush my computer then using dos do a comand and copy over everything including a fully working dvd x copy. There are other free dvd coping softwares that copty css and all protected dvd's.

I would agree that DVD XCOPY is outdated but I find if it works it can't be beat. I still use it on 8 out of 10 copies. I can rip a dvd total process in about 15 minutes. Come on doesn't get any easier, put DVD and blank in, hit start, nothing else to do.
plus you get the nag screen all the extras fbi warning etc.
dvd x copy is over ,if you need a real program download CloneDVD 2 with AnyDVD ,easy to use does all the newer movie which x copy cant ,you can re-author ,control the burn speed and the quality is much better than x copy plus the programs updates
I agree with aabbccdd. AnyDVD is awesome and a priceless tool. I have both CloneDVD2 and 1Click DVD Copy ( and a few free apps shrink, decrypter, etc.). For ease of use you cant beat 1Click DVD Copy you put the movie in and hit start. its that easy. but if you want a little more control over your burn i'd get CloneDVD2. P.S. there is a fake CloneDVD2 out there called DVD Cloner STAY AWAY! too many people on AD have been burned by this DVD Cloner company. So yeah 1Click DVD Copy = speed, ease of use, quality CloneDVD2 = speed, quality, options
their both great programs. I believe each lets you copy three full movies before you have to buy them. so my advice give them both a shot see what you like.
