I created some maps but it doesnt let me send them back to my xbox. I use flash fxp and it says failed. what do i do

you seem like a good modder wr and im having problems so im asking you. ok so this is what is happening... 1. softmodded installed evox dashboard. 2. copied halo 2 to my hard drive. 3. it said it didnt have room to copy everything, but when i ftp it shows the .map files. 4. i ftp and copy halo 2 .map files. 5. i mod ascension and triplicate. 6. I resign both maps with ADI, DotHalo, H2Edit, and CHR2 (or howerver you spell it.) 7. i overwrite the original files of triplicate and ascension. 8. i try to load both maps.... "you failed to load the map." 8. so i figured out you need Map Resigner for new maps. 9. i download map resigner and i try to run it off WinRAR and it says application failed to intialize. press ok to terminate. I tried extracting the files. Same thing happened. If you have any time to read the great wall of text plz help me out. And if anyone else who is reading this knows what is wrong plz help! Thanx to anyone who does.

I would remove Halo 2 off you r HDD and FTP t your HDD, Because you probubly got all the stuff you don't need and not of all of the maps.

So what you do....

1)Remove all of the halo2 files of your HDD
2)Put in your Halo2 disk in your xbox make sure you are still at your dash...
3)Next you ftp to your xbox and find the drive with halo2 files with it....I think it is D:
4)Copy the fonts files to your HDD and only the multyplayer maps to your HDD(not campaign)
5)Then nothing else
And then your done

O yea go to the folder where your DVD2Xbox is, It should say put games here....that is where you put the files

@playhalo2, I would use Encryptomatic signature for resigning the maps. You can download it here, http://www.halomaps.com/programs/halo2/encryptomatic_signature.rar
However you need the .NET Framework to run this program, you can get it here (download and install) http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=262d25e3...
That might also have been the problem with your other map resigner you tried, you may not have had the .NET Framework.

i create my maps in dothalo and when im done i just resign it and go to flash fxp. I click transfer and it said failed.

Do you drag the map from your desktop to the right pane (the maps folder) and it appears in the bottom box, you right click it and click transfer queue then overwrite.

thats great help both of you but one thing... i cant delete halo 2 for some reason apparenly its not there but the files are there...? so will both of your ways still work?

what i did was copy my maps to my pc and then open them in dothalo. i created them and closed the map. I went to map resigner and resigned it. then i went to flash fxp and transfered my map it didnt work.
