Got a problem recently where I try to play vob files... nothing happens.. Whatever program I use BSPLAYER, NERO SHOWTIME or Mplayer.. I see the counter moving but there`s no screen showing the video? tried renaming the extension to no avail.
I get the play/pause/fast forward panel with the counter.. but no second screen showing the video.. any help would be appreciated?? don`t wanna re-install just yet..
Also installed the mpeg2 codecs.. gspot says they are installed but still nothing..

Get a DVD playing program eg powerdvd, it comes with the clink dvd codec or maybe you can just get the codec alone. However usually in the event of a missing codec the system would tell you which codec.

Yeah I tried PowerDVD and that doesn`t even want to play.. doesn`t load or anything..

I dont know man, ill tell you what id do tho,
1. Download VirtualDub, or any other media software and try playing it in there, or also you could try rip a .VOB from a different movie and try.
if it doesnt work
2. download latest codecs
doesnt work?
3. System restore
doesnt work?
4. reinstall windows.
