I have bought a new Laptop with WinDVR5

I find it difficult to use it (Lagging,Doesnt Record in best quality even if i choose it -Best,Better,Good-, looks too professional)

Is there anyone that knows of a simpler software to use with the tv card that allows you to do the same things ? (Save and watch tv stations, recording, timed recording etc)
