Hello all.
I have just tried joining two AVI files using VirtualDUB but when i tried to join the second file to the first I received a message saying cannot append file 'blah blah' the audio streams have different sampling rates (13877.00000 vs. 13940.00000).....
This is the first time I have tried to do this and I am no computer genius so any help will be very much appreciated.

You'll have to convert those audio tracks all over again. When you have opened the first file, check direct stream copy from video menu. Then check full processing mode from audio menu, and desired codec from compression, under audio menu. This audio codec (mp3 for example) should be constant bitrate, not variable. When you have made your selection, then select file->save as AVI. Repeat this procedure with the second part. After the both files are ready, you can join them.
