It comes probably with a 2.1+ you migh be lucky and get one that is a 2.0 or lower. just go to a game shop and ask for the psp that they have had the longest. they will do it if they want your buisness.

A-1.50
B-1.51
C-1.52
D-2.00 Unconfirmed
E-2.00 Unconfirmed (likely 1.52)
F-2.00
G-2.01

few stores by me still have 1.52's

yes, i initially bought a G that was 2.01, and later, went through literally, no joke... 6 "c"'s to get a decent LCD with no bad pixels.. every single C was a 1.52

I think there supposedly counting liberations for the PSP as 2
I did :|

Steps to bricking a PSP:

1. Get a brick
2. Hit the psp with it untill it won't run any longer

Congratulations, your psp is now bricked.

Thank you everyone for your help!

I just got back from 5 differnt stores and they are all H

I found out that I can buy used ones but there is no box with them Is there a way to tell by the # on the PSP?

If not Im just going to have them turn them all of them and check for the one I want, I would like to test it first anyways because I hate buying used things.

Thank you

I did find a box tho that did not have a # on it, but it was empty they only had the ones with the H

Also how do I know if it has bad pixels?(will it be blurry)?

dead pixel = obvious, you will notice it on the screen.. just a black dot that stays permanently

stuck pixel = harder to see, on a all black screen, in low light, look at the screen at all angles and you will see the pixel "stuck" a certain color.

as far as finding an old psp, think of a store that sells electronics, that doesnt really sell that many electronics... both targets by me had old ones

ebay is a risk but so is buying used.

I just going to have to go out of state or buy a used one.

Thanks again.

You could just buy one with firmware 2.01+ and buy gta liberty city stories, not only is it a great game, but it also allows you to use most homebrews using "eloader".
